1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Farnec ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.
Farnec is a cloud-based digital signage and screen management platform that enables businesses to remotely manage digital displays, create dynamic content playlists, and monitor screen status in real-time.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily access and use Farnec for personal or commercial purposes subject to these Terms of Service. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions.
You may not:
- Modify or copy the materials or software
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose without a valid subscription
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Farnec
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
- Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account and information
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Farnec offers different subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, and Advanced) with varying features and screen limits. By subscribing to a paid plan:
- You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
- You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- Payment processing is handled securely through Paddle
- All fees are non-refundable except as provided in our Refund Policy
5. User Content and Data
You retain all rights to content you upload to the Service (media files, playlists, layouts). By uploading content, you grant us a license to:
- Store and display your content through the Service
- Process your content to provide the Service features
- Make backup copies for service reliability
You are solely responsible for your content and must ensure you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and share it through our Service.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive content
- Violate intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the Service to spam or send unsolicited messages
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Emergency repairs
- Circumstances beyond our control
- Third-party service outages (Supabase, Paddle, etc.)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with or without notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Farnec shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Third-party content or actions
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
